Just like 'Burger and Lobster' restaurants only serve ... yep, you guessed it! ... we only make 11ft / 3.36m long hammocks.
This is because 11 feet is the optimum length for removing the 'shoulder squeeze' and calf pressure-ridge, plus hyperextension of the knees by sleeping like a banana instead of a flatter diagonal lay across the hammock, caused by hammocks that are 3m long or even shorter. An 11ft hammock is pretty much the longest that can be fitted under most tarps (with 3m x3m tarps working well as a diagonal / diamond shape over the hammock).
Spotty Dog Hammocks are the only manufacturer of 11ft hammocks in the UK. Try us, and you'll wonder how you ever slept in a shorter hammock!
